• Also served Greater Taung Local Municipal Council as member of Corporate Services Portfolio Committee during the 2011 – 2016 Term of Council and Chairperson of Corporate Services and later Communication and Marketing Portfolio Committees during the 2016 – 2021 Term of Council
• Elected as ANC PR Councillor during the 2021 Local Government Elections
• She started serving as the Speaker of GTLM Council in November 2021
