Served Greater Taung Local Municipality for part of 2011 – 2016 Term of Council as ANC PR Councillor as well as part of the 2016 – 2021 Term as Forum for Service Delivery PR Councillor
He also served Greater Taung Municipal Council as Member of Finance Portfolio Committee for 2011 – 2016 as well as Finance and Infrastructure Portfolio Committees and MPAC Member during the 2016 – 2021 Terms of Council
He was elected as Forum for Service Delivery PR Councillor during the 2021 Local Government Elections
He started serving as GTLM Chairperson of Finance in November 2021
